Liam Sullivan is a fashion, commercial, and creative portrait photographer based in Chicago.

Currently set to graduate from Columbia College Chicago, Liam is best known for his sharp attention to detail, and use of vibrant colors and bold contrast. 

Liam decided to pursue his talent for photography by attending Columbia College Chicago where he studied under current industry professionals. In his classes, Liam cultivated his craft by developing skills in project design and execution, technique, business, graphic design, photo editing, branding, and marketing. In his junior year, Liam had the privilege of learning from the brilliant Verser Engelhard. During one of Verser’s classes, Liam was tasked with conceptualizing and executing a photoshoot centered around a theoretical new line by fashion icon Rick Owens. The project involved event planning, outfit styling, talent recruitment, set design and construction, capturing six distinctive looks, crafting a press release, and culminating with the production of a spotless, chic lookbook for Rick Owens' hypothetical collection.

Liam is creative, dedicated to his work, and quite adept at thinking on the spot and pivoting to new ideas when problems arise. He is always on the lookout for new opportunities to dive into and talented people to work with.

Liam is currently working on his final project to design, shoot, and print his own fashion magazine. This project will be a collection of the techniques and styles that he has learned from his classes during his time at Columbia, such as fashion, commercial, and editorial photography. He will be presenting his magazine at Columbia’s Manifest day in May of 2024.
