In March of 2020, was the first time in a hundred years since the Spanish flu for a pandemic had ruled the world. Everyone in the world felt the aftershocks of what the covid-19 pandemic had to offer: Sickness, Death, Loss, Loneliness, Anger, Activism, Division, and Hope. My series called “Absences” is a documentary series of how the City of Chicago became a ghost town twelve hours after the stay at home order was implemented. This is dedicated to the 23,955 people who have passed away from covid-19 and counting.
