Liz Rybka is a Chicago-born and -based photographer and filmmaker working mainly in documentary, portraiture and fashion. She is inspired by expressive faces and passionate about harnessing the interplay of color and light to capture moments with her subjects. Liz grew up with the colorful childhoods of her closest family members brought to life as bedtime stories, and developed an appreciation for the power of narrative to connect people to their roots and each other. Throughout her life Liz has been collecting stories of her own and her extensive travels have led her to meet some of the most interesting people in the world. The driving force behind her work is an endless curiosity and desire to bring new stories to life.
