The four images I chose to showcase for this event are all product and still life pieces. I felt a want to display this category of photography because I feel it demonstrates my progression in lighting and studio work. All these works were created throughout my Principles of Light courses at Columbia College Chicago. Prior to Columbia College I have never worked or have been exposed to studio or lighting equipment. So, I found my two years as a transfer student here extremely educational in learning how important lighting truly is. I feel these four images demonstrate my passion in taking the opportunity to challenging myself to create something that showcases my vision as an artist. I find every product or moment an inspiration to create a piece of art.
