Mac
Mac, owner of FlicksByMac has graduated with a degree from Columbia College Chicago in Photography, interned at Urban Outfitters for videography, and worked in a studio for three years. They have five years of confident experience with photography equipment and software. All of their work expands the boundaries of gender and their documentary projects create an intimate reality by imbedding a secondary point of view. The subjects look at Mac with emotion rather than impression because of the connected conversations and moments they are being captured in. Intimacy is their muse. “I shoot conceptual and bold work. I love shooting lifestyle, simple to abstract lighting, and all things emotion-provoking to grab my audience. Genderfluidity as hero is a common theme in my work and my two favorite design elements are light and depth.”
