Gabriela Cantú is a Mexican-American photographer whose work is inspired from a variety of themes including music, cinema, fashion, and different communities. Photography has always been an outlet for her to be honest and vulnerable in the presence of an audience. Working with different photographic styles, she strives to connect with her viewers through emotion and storytelling. Along with exploring her fascination with humanity's impulses, this leads her to capture complex experiences with fear and perfectionism, or excitement and acceptance. Gabriela creates worlds for her viewers to experience through her unique compositions, use of color, cultural references, and the use of sound.
